Tomorrow's Friday, and I can't tell you how glad I am! This has been a rough couple of weeks. I've just wanted to crawl into a hole somewhere and sleep until...um...maybe December? Hmmnn...I found out something interesting yesterday. I found that Shel Silverstein wrote both Johnny Cash's "A Boy Named Sue" and Loretta Lynn's "Hey Loretta". Now, I wasn't quite as surprised at that as I was when I found out that he wrote kids poetry a couple of years ago (when I became a school librarian), but it was still kind of surprising ( ( Read more... )
